About the Role
We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft System Administrator and Helpdesk Expert to join our team. As a System Administrator and Helpdesk Expert, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our customer's infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Microsoft server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows-based operating systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network topology, and support procedures.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and coordinate hardware and software procurement.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Microsoft System Administrator and Helpdesk Expert, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL processes. ITIL Certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system automation and administration tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide exceptional customer service.
• Relevant certifications, such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
